I was recommended Dan from a friend. As a first time home owner, I was nervous about the state the heating system might of been in. My experience with plumbers from renting was basic, in and out within 30 minutes. Dan spent over an hour and half fully inspecting my boiler and providing me with all the feedback and evidence I needed to prove future works and went into detail about why the system was not maintained correctly previously and what his corrective action would be. I certainly feel in safe hands with DJT and will be using him on goingly.

When our boiler suddenly died this winter Dan did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable while we waited for our appointment with him to install a new one, even kindly lending us an immersion heater for our hot water tank so that we had hot water. Once he started installing the new boiler, his hard work and attention to detail was next level, even when our old house and pipes threw up some curve balls! every step of the process, from communication beforehand all the way through to showing us how the system worked once it was installed was top notch. We're very happy he was recommended to us.

Daniel is an excellent engineer. Well-planned and meticulous, with a "can-do" attitude.
We needed a new boiler, but also decided to move it from a bedroom/office (how weird was that of the previous people?) to a utility room, so a fairly big change. He listened to our requirements with no sharp intake of breath, and discussed options as things unfolded during the job. Pricing was not cheap, but we'd much rather pay someone to get it right first time and leave us in a happy state - we have had to deal with many previous botches on our house since moving into it, so we are very happy to find a really skilled local guy.

Dan has been looking after our gas installation and heating for several years now, and we couldn’t be happier. Most recently, he replaced our hob, carried out a full boiler installation (on a cylindered gas system), and completed a thorough system flush. I called DJT gas services out to certify my boiler when Dan got there he found the boiler was in need of some maintenance. This was all included in his fee for the certificate and he sent me before and after photos. I had the boiler certified last year by someone who just did the bare minimum and left it in this state. I’d highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for gas services and will definitely be a repeat customer myself.

As a former gas engineer, I’ve seen my fair share of boiler services - but Dan’s work is on another level. He’s easily ten times more thorough than what you’d get from British Gas or most other companies. His attention to detail is unreal.
Dan doesn’t just do the bare minimum; he does the job properly, the way it should be done. He pressure-washed the heat exchanger, cleaned the injector, Venturi and condensate trap, recharged the expansion vessel - almost every part got stripped and serviced, not just checked. Most engineers won’t touch half of that unless an emissions test flags an issue, but Dan does it as standard.
It’s rare to find someone this meticulous. If you want a proper boiler service, not just a quick safety check, Dan is the guy to call.
